Everyday as I walk through the hallway I’m constantly being bullied. “Faggot.” “Homo.” “You’re so gay.” I hear just about everything. The other day someone said something to me that I will never forget. “Go kill yourself, one less faggot in this world the better.” What runs through someone’s mind that they can even think about telling someone to kill them self? How does someone think it’s okay to call someone out on their flaws just because they can’t face their own? In case you didn’t know…calling someone gay doesn’t make you any straighter, calling someone fat doesn’t make you any skinnier, calling someone ugly doesn’t make you any prettier, and telling someone to kill themselves does not make everything better. Life is a beautiful thing..and I have news for everyone…so am I. I am proud of who I am. You should be too. Whether you’re fat, skinny, ugly, pretty, gay, straight…you are beautiful. Don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise. Don’t let people get to you. It’s your life, live it to the fullest and don’t let people ruin your happiness. I know it may hurt at first, and I know it may seem like you want to cut yourself or commit suicide, but know that you are better than that. Why would you ever let someone tell you that you are not beautiful? Life is too short to let the little things get to you. Keep your head up and smile, because you deserve to be happy.
